CF Industries to increase production capacity of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) in Ontario

Major U.S. fertilizer producer CF Industries has announced plans to increase production capacity of urea-based products, including DEF, by 130,000 tons.
A debottlenecking project is due to commence at the company's Courtright Nitrogen Complex in Sarnia, Ontario later in 2015, costing an estimated $85 million. Production capacity is due to increase for granular urea, urea liquor as well as DEF.
The company has said completion is anticipated in Q4 2017 and will coincide with a scheduled turnaround of the urea plant.
